It was only after I gave Reiki a try that I truly began experiencing my own physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.” ~ Laurie Comeau

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a simple, hands-on healing method that utilizes your own energy system to bring balance and support to your whole being. It's often used for relaxation, emotional healing, physical ailments, and spiritual connection.

Clients commonly turn to Reiki for relaxation, emotional healing, and physical ailments. Additionally, it can foster spiritual connection and aid in overcoming past traumas.

Reiki was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan in 1922 during a fast on Mount Kurama. It's derived from the Japanese words "Rei" for spiritual and "Ki" for energy. Today, Reiki is practiced by people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs.

Animals love Reiki

Reiki is increasingly used with pets, offering them calmness and aiding recovery from medical issues. It's effective for behavioral problems and as proactive wellness care. Animals respond well to Reiki due to their innate understanding of energy, finding it soothing.

What to Expect

When you arrive, please allow for approximately 10-15 minutes to discuss the
Reiki process, to address any questions you may have, and to review your
concerns and issues. You may want to set an intention for the session at this
time. You will stay fully clothed. Please dress comfortably. You will be asked to remove your shoes. You will be placed in a comfortable position, face up, on a massage table. A pillow will be placed under your head, if desired. A pillow will also be placed under your knees, if requested.

Reiki will be delivered with my hands held slightly above your body and/or via
gentle touch on your body. (Touch can be avoided if you prefer. Bikini areas are
never touched.) I will change my hand positions as needed.

After the Reiki session, you may want to allow yourself 5-10 minutes to have
some water, write in your journal, if you brought one, and get ready to drive
again. We can discuss anything you would like after the session.

I look forward to working with you!

Note: Reiki is not a substitute for prescribed medications, and/or prescribed medical or psychological care. Clients who are under the care of a doctor should continue their medical care. Reiki complements any medical diagnosis. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose illness or disease, nor do they prescribe medication or treatment.
